Pairs of students were required to solve mathematical problems to reach their destinations. The activity required students to expand, factorise, simplify, rearrange, substitute and design a poster outlining the three methods for factorising quadratics. The students enjoyed the race aspect to the activity, working together with their peers and applying their algebraic understanding.
